What is SilverLining?SilverLining is a stand-alone graphical tool for fitting smooth meshes to point-cloud data or incomplete mesh data, producing water tight meshes for computer graphics and rapid prototyping.SilverLining is built on FarField Technology's FastRBF engine which models surface data with a mathematical function. This results in remarkable hole-filling and surface extrapolation abilities and offers a mesh-independent representation of your data. In the SilverLining workflow, a compact RBF model is fitted to your data and subsequent meshes are generated as required, with the smoothing and resolution you want. Who needs SilverLining?
